  4. read this. i understand that what is going on over there isn't right. but this article makes some valid points. don't jump on the bandwagon with everyone else before doing some research.

  5. Thank you but I have done my research. I really don't think you can call supporting a good cause "jumping on the bandwagon."

    1. Agreed. That article is quite depressing and sad. The person who wrote it should be ashamed. Boooo on them for their pessimistic thoughts.

  7. all the article above^ states is that "awareness is not the solution"
uh, hello dummie. The video CLEARLY states thee outcome of awareness & donations. all donations go to Ugandan troops to provide them with the right technology and means to FIND&STOP Joseph Kony for good.

To the people who are angry at the post anonymous made, he/she is coming from a well-meaning place. This has been a huge problem for decades, not just the recent years. I have a friend who was part of the original IC movement but unfortunately he had to leave the charity when he found out where the actual donations were going. Awareness is key and Kony does need to be stopped. But there are other charities that do more for the actual problem than IC/Kony 2012. It's great that this video is spreading, the more people know, the more likely change will occur! But just make sure you know where your donations are actually going when you choose the charity to support so that your money and efforts actually reach these kids:]
