news.

5.07.2012

I like reading the news. Most of the time it makes me feel like the world is corrupt & happiness is rather rare.

then I found this.

"BOSTON — It can be nerve-wracking to perform in public — especially if you stumble on the words. For a autistic man singing the national anthem at Fenway Park that's exactly what happened. But instead of catcalls or insults the audience joins in singing with him, and he finishes with triumph. It's a show of American solidarity — and more importantly — plain human compassion at a time when tales of alleged caregiver brutality against the disabled shock and anger us. It just goes to show that humanity does care after all. I feel more patriotic already."

There is good in this world.
