  2. I admire you. Even when you seem like you're feeling down with the heavy bits of life, you still have this outlook on life that things will get there.

Please, for some one who is out of ideas to get back to make life right, tell me your secret.

    3. Ease up buddy. In Utah, most people are members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, as am I. To us sex is a sacred thing. Maybe you don't realize, and maybe you don't care, but that comment right there is actually offensive to a lot of people. So back off, and find something better than bashing on peoples views and beliefs. Its just plain rude.

  27. More details on your first kiss with McKay!! The way you wrote about it on your old blog was so romantic but I've never seen a recap!!
Also, if you wrote a book, I would be so interested in it. Have you considered it?

  28. Based on the blogs I’ve read, it seems like Mormon couples get married very young and often date for a relatively short amount of time (ie. less than a year) before getting engaged. Do you think this is primarily because of the restrictions surroundings premarital sex? If the Bible stated that premarital sex was acceptable, do you think LDS couples would still marry so young?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. "Do you think this is primarily because of the restrictions surroundings premarital sex?" I sure think so... if you could be a righteous "Mormon" and live and sleep with your boyfriend, there would be no "rush" to get married so fast and so young.
---- I know this question was for Megan, but it just is a question I think about quite often.

      Delete
    2. It's also a common thing that Mormons generally have a lot of children! You have to get on that young!

      Delete
    3. I think it would cause some to wait to
Get married, but I think part of
Mormons gettin married so early is because not Only pressures and expectations, but I think marriage is made so
Important that I think girls especially get really excited and just want it as soon as possible. But ultimately sex changes things a lot so who really knows, but maybe that's why no sex until marriage is the belief because it is so personal and intimate.

  30. How do you, Meg Livingston, plan to change the world? I'm sure you realize by now the scope of influence your blog has, so...do you have any plans for that? Not that I mind the day-to-day topics (they take up my own blog as well), but I would love to have as many followers as you simply because I could make my blog an outlet for the things I want to DO/change. Just curious if there are bigger plans at bay :)

Love your blog, by the way.

  36. You and McKay should do a video clip/vlog together. I want to see how you two interact with each other/want to hear your voices. I know this is weird. But McKay's voice in my head sounds something like Morgan Freeman and you sound like Kirsten Bell. Please, please. Dispel these rumors from my strange mind! Haha really though, love you, love your blog.

  40. Why does everyone want to know about sex? That is pretty personal.
But really Meg, doesn't that annoy you or make your space feel invaded by so many people wanting to know about something so intimate and special that should only happen between you two?

    1. I think it’s great that people are asking about sex! Sex should really be talked about more openly instead of being portrayed as something scary or sinful. A blogger can easily share thoughts and advice about sex without getting into intimate personal details.

    2. Well you my friend, must either be
      1. Sexually deprived or,
      2. A sex monkey.
just simply asking her if it makes her feel weird.

    3. Well I don't think meg will share anything she doesn't want to, so I think we are safe :)

    4. ^i'm not a complete idiot.
yes, i was aware that she will share only what she feels.
some people suck. this is example A.

p.s. SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX.
happy now? it's all you people want.

    5. I think you took my comment the wrong way. I wasn’t trying to be rude, I was only sharing my opinion that discussions about sex can be a good thing. I don’t see how that makes me either “sexually deprived” or a “sex monkey”, but ok then...

    6. ^alright sexually deprived money with a whore tendency? That was rude. I'm sorry. Okay. Fine. Lets just but this conversation to bed. HAHAHAHA. get it?

  45. No offense, but Mormons aren't the best to ask for advice about sex. Sure, they obviously have it. But with only one person.
That doesn't give variety or too much experience.
So, its weird to ask about it.

Megan, my question is, was your step mom really as horrible as you made here out to be at times?

    1. Just because they only have one sexual partner doesn't mean they aren't qualified to talk about and/or give advice about sex.

Also, I'm assuming the majority of the people asking about the sex is Mormon as well. Thus, they plan to only have sex with one person, and are curiously to what's expected for them (because they and Meg will have had the same situation).

Oh, and I'm not Mormon, so this wasn't bias in anyways...

    2. Are you going to start blogging more often?

    3. I feel the need to be obnoxious & comment again in regard of my typos.
I am aware that I should proof-read more, and typos do not go well with defending something.

      and I frown.

    4. I disagree. I’m not Mormon, but I’ve been in a relationship for 5 years and he’s the only one I’ve ever slept with. Being in a stable relationship for that long means I’ve had a lot more sex than some of my more “promiscuous” friends, who are constantly in and out of short-term relationships. I think the best way to become experienced is to have sex often, communicate openly, and try new things. Variety is overrated.
