oreo truffle fudge cake.


I'm not usually a cake person but when it comes to cake drenched in chocolate & truffle filling- I didn't say no. it was so easy & delicious paired with some vanilla bean ice cream.

+ 1 box of devil's food cake (I used Duncan Hines.)
+ 1 1/4 cups water
+ 1/3 cup oil
+ 3 large eggs
+ 1 cup sour cream
+ 1 package white chocolate jell-o instant pudding
+ 1 package oreo cookies
+ 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
+ 1/2 cup butter
+ 1 1/2 cups sugar
+ 1/3 cup evaporated milk
+ 1/2 cup chocolate chips, extra for garnish. (I used milk chocolate. use what tickles your fancy.)

1. preheat over to 350 degrees & grease two 8 inch pans.
2. mix together cake mix, oil, water, eggs, sour cream & pudding mix cuntil just combine.
3. bake for 30-35 minutes- or until a toothpick comes out clean. 
4.  crush oreo cookies (i used my blender) & thoroughly mix with cream cheese. It will be very thick.
5. after cake has cooled completely, spread truffle mix between layers.
6. in a saucepan over medium heat, melt together butter, sugar, & evaporated milk.
7. bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute & stir in chocolate chips.
8. remove from heat & pour over cake & garnish with chocolate chips.
9. eat your heart out.
